On his new album DS4EVER, Gunna brings back the unique style and ad-libs that the fans love to hear. The special melody and tone that Gunna has brings a different sound to the music industry that’s exceptionally smooth.

Gunna’s catchy hooks and lyrics always seem to stick out, and this especially shows on the album. Overall, I feel as though the album is a solid effort. Out of the 20 songs, 12 of them are daily listening for me. The rest are impressive as well.

One of Gunna’s top songs, “Pushin P” feat. Young Thug has quickly sparked a huge social media trend of  “🅿️” . Before Gunna dropped his album he started saying the phrase “Pushing P”. At first, followers of Gunna weren’t very sure of the meaning of this and Gunna made the questioning increase when he told his fans to guess.

Soon after the album dropped, Gunna went on a short rant on Instagram live, detailing and explaining the meaning of 🅿️. During his rant, Gunna explained “Now… putting your people in position is P, risking your life to feed your family is P, being real off the internet is P, and speaking on somebody for no reason is not P.” After that, the phrase was popularized in the mainstream. Social media ate it up and Gunna fans sure ran with it. This new phrase somewhat helped advertise DS4Ever with its popularity. Songs I recommend listening to are Private “Island,” “Mop,” “Flooded,” and of course “Pushin P”. Overall the new album is pretty good. I’d give a 8/10 recommendation to tune in.
