The movie does a great job of showing the different stages of Bob Marley’s life, highlighting his struggles, triumphs, and the impact he made on the world. 

One thing that sets this movie apart is its attention to detail. The filmmaker, Reinaldo Marcus Green, went to great lengths to recreate the time period Bob lived in. From the costumes to the set designs, everything feels authentic and transports you back to that quintessential era, like experiencing the world through Bob Marley’s eyes. Ziggy Marley, Bob Marley’s very own son, helped serve as a producer—incurring his fathers story was nothing more than the truth, providing an inside perspective on his fathers life.

The performances in the movie are outstanding. The actor who portrays Bob Marley, Kingsley Ben-Adir, truly embodies his spirit, capturing his charisma and natural stage presence. You can just feel the passion and energy that Bob Marley brought to his music, and it is very well described in the film.
