2025-2026 HOCO KING AND QUEEN!

By: Eleni King Martin

On Saturday, October 17th, our student body celebrated our school at the annual Homecoming Dance. The night before, at our second-to-last football game, the students of McCaskey High School voted who would represent our school as Homecoming King and Queen. The elected students are two accomplished and well-known seniors, Gregory Medina and Keira Koser-Martin!

“I love McCaskey because of the inclusiveness and the positive environment that is created here through the students and staff.” says Homecoming Queen Keira Koser-Martin. “I’m excited to be crowned Homecoming Queen because I’m honored to represent all of the values of McCaskey.” Keira is a heavily involved student, she participates in WMCC, NHS, the Varsity Girls Softball team, Link Crew, student government, and much more!

“Winning Homecoming King was an amazing experience and it really made me appreciate all the people and friends I’ve met along my high school journey. It made me get out of my comfort zone and experience sides of McCaskey I wasn’t used to. This moment means more than words can express!” says Homecoming King Gregory Medina. Greg is involved in Winter/Spring Track and Field, Voices of Freedom, Chamber Choir, the theater department, and the school-wide talent shows. “I love McCaskey because of all the opportunities students have here and all the thought the school puts into our activities.”

Congratulations to our 2025-2026 school year Homecoming King and Queen! We wish them luck as they move through their senior year here at McCaskey and after they graduate!
