This year’s homecoming court was an amazing group of students that are involved all across McCaskey, and if we could crown each one of them Homecoming King & Queen, we would! These students include: Benjamin High, Gregory Medina, Zayd Mattar, Darrian Rom, Aaron Canestrare, Rameer Jackson, Shawn Mapp, Gilliana “Gigi” Ortiz, Danaj Kellum, Saniya Cruz, Dymazhia Lavender-Gray, Yakima Citron Cruz, Janeva Hicks, and Keira Koser Martin. 

A common trend among our court is participation in our varsity sports. This includes tennis, cheerleading, basketball, softball, field hockey, and track! No matter which sport, these are all great demonstrations of school pride! 

Not only is there athletic talent, but artistic talent as well; some of our court is involved in band and orchestra, while others are consistent performers at our talent shows. Whatever they do, each of these students represent the best parts of McCaskey and of its student body. 

Everyone has their own hobbies, but they spend just as much time on clubs that give back to our community. From Link Crew and Peer Mediation to Black Student Union and Student Council, most of these students are a part of the clubs that help make our student body as strong as it is today. 

Everyone on this court was voted on for a reason; they are a group of role models every student should look up to, as examples of all the different ways you can be your best self at McCaskey.
